@YodaBone007 – I’m not competing in the Arnold Classic. I’m competing in the Raw Powerlifting Challenge at the Arnold.

@TheUFOeffect You must wear a singlet in competition. I’m not sure if you’re referring to what I had on in the gym. If so, I’m not wearing one of the tight uniforms here. In this video I’m just wearing t-shirts and shorts.

@TheUFOeffect Singlets are required in every one that I know of. There are lots of powerlifting federations in the USA, so I don’t want to say every one. But every major, reputable one that I know of requires them.

@kyallcash I was doing deadlifts with a sumo stance here. That’s a wider stance with grip inside to shorten the distance the bar has to travel. Legs closer with grip outside the legs is conventional stance. I’ve started pulling with a conventional stance again in the past few weeks. Neither one is right or wrong. It’s just a matter of preference. Go with whatever allows you to lift the most weight!

Thanks brother! But I’m actually a powerlifter as far as competing goes. Bodybuilding is a secondary hobby, but who knows? Maybe I’ll do a show one day to see how it goes.
