There is no such thing as ‘powerlifting’ or ‘bodybuilding’ squat. The squats are two types: Deep squat – where your hip joint goes lower than your knee joint and BREAK PARALLEL depth. There is also a Shallow squat – where you put a fuck load of weight on the bar do a hip thrust and re-rack the bar thinking you have done something amazing, which is what Mike O’Hearn does. The way his lower back curls when he tries to pass parallel with close to no weight on the bar is a joke. Considering how many years he has spent lifting weights, his hip mobility is non existent.
