Wheres the Oly vids Omar? Im curious to see how you jerk it
Omar you should have asked the coach more questions. We didn’t need a summary for the 2 points he discussed.
Anyway I always appreciate videos with Jeremy Hamilton, he’s my favorite lifter.
First of all I’m hoping that you haven’t just spent all your time making videos and have finally started seriously training your calves. Secondly and most importantly, I’d like to see you do a video with Couch comparing high bar squats to low bar squats, especially from a power lifters point of view.
I’d say there is one down side to starting to light, if its a big step away from the goal in mind, you may limit your chances of getting to that weight? say opening with 150 and you’re after 200 (kg) there is a big space to work with for the second
+OmarIsuf this is such a great informative video and I’m going to change how i train now thanks and also share the vid with my friends and weight lifting buds.
Don’t know if this has been covered but I’m curious about how enhanced and natty lifters should differ in their programming approaches (volume, intensity, frequency)
Hey Omar I was diagnosed with a low grade spondylosis in my lumbar spine. I am in a brace until it heals, but my doctor said I should never heavy lift again. I would like your opinion if you think this guy is just trying to save his career. I am 17 and not lifting heavy again is a hard to imagine.
Can you guys make a video about powerlifting prep. about 2nd topic you were comenting, for instance if your squat year before was 600 pounds and this year 2 months before the meet your squat shoots to 650, should you grind and try to increase it to place better at the meet or hold back and try to maintain current strenght for the meet??
+OmarIsuf I want to see the “Couch” train during his offseason. Does he have a program; is he strengthening his weak points; or is he simply doing full body hypertrophy training to gain as muscle as he can before meet season again?
Any advise about sweating with long hair? I have to fight the urge to shave it all off because it’s such a pain in the ass to wash when it gets sweaty, but I refuse to have a smelly head. Mine is long enough right now that I’ve been tying it in a knot.. basically wearing it ‘up’ like a samurai.. or a woman with a mustache. Yeah I’m skinny.

Will the seminar include exotic dancing?
Awesome video and came just at the right time for me now that I’m starting pre meet training! 🙂
I’d be interested to hear Mr Couch’s opinions on exercise variations and how far you can get from the competition lifts and still have carry over.
George leeman should watch this he snapped up his back 2 weeks before a meet in London going after a huge PR
I was only watching ALL couch videos yesterday and then this pops up!
Going to my first meet tomorrow!
Any tips are appreciated from anyone, I’m really psyched and hope I can sleep tonight!

Loving the content Omar. Keep up the great work.
It is soo easy to ego lift in a powerlifting, especially your first lift cause you wanna impress people lol! Great vid Omar!

Strongest Couch should create a routine for all the Sofa’s out there
I want him to smile plz

I’d love to see a video on how to identify weakpoints.
There’s lots of discussion on how to fix weakpoints once they’re recognized but for many…. just identifying what isn’t working is a difficult task
My biggest mistake was not eating my lettuce, so i wouldn’t be butt shredded

Great idea w the seminar.. might just have to check that out

I wanna see Couch lift the heaviest sofa you guys can find…
Has couch ever smiled before?
The audio in your outro is out of sync. This is my fave outro on youtube regardless, just would like it in sync
Film the seminar itself
SPINAL TAP m/
it’d be cool a video on when to and more importantly when not to switch training program

Omar you need to get Jay Nera on the youtubessssss pleaseeeeee. He’s a beast lifter with so much wisdom. Very philosophical too.
+OmarIsuf looking forward to the seminar. Will you be there too?

What is a meet?

Good info. Ive got my first meet in August, so Ill try to keep myself from hitting PRs until then ahah. Thanks for the vid Omar.
Bulbasaur is da best, especially for making gainz.
+MattDoesFitness you probably already watch omar and the couch. giving quality tips here, thought might help since british champs is approaching!
