First Powerlifting Meet First Place

July 13, 2017 by warrioradmin 25 Comments

well, my first meet ever. Got first in my weight category and first novice lifter for my wilks and third place overall. I’m pretty happy about it. I know my bench could have been 280+ easily, but something wasn’t feeling right, and i’ve been having lots of pain and issues with my ulnar nerve medial of the tricep on the left arm.

Thanks to Daniel Green who coached me online, makes sense he’s one of the best lifters in the world. Thanks for watching guys.

1219 total – had another 25 lbs on the squat at least, but better to play it safe.

Just watching this now and I was wondering if you have any tips on squatting and deadlifting I have always been looking for ways to improve these lifts. I am 16 years old and have a 115.5 kg bench, 161 kg squat and 192 kg dead lift.

Great job!! I wish I recorded my first meet… It was a few months ago only difference is I have to squat with out wraps and sleeves they are not allowed in raw. I set 4 world records and 4 state records that day it was awesome and I can’t wait till December to beat all my records again lol

I’ve been lifting for the last 5 months..but only for twice a week, but happy with my results so far considering my lack of time in the gym.

That judge needs to learn the rules. In most feds the rules require the bar to be motionless on the chest, not motionless then sit there for an hour. It pissed me off just watching it.
