Sorry guys, but all I see in Layne’s supertraining videos, is just a
ignorant prick hiding behind his phd, who is way too arrogant to accept
that he has terrible form. He just makes up tons of excuses for not using
correct/safe form. Now for all the people saying he is strong, so he knows
what he’s talking about: He is strong, because he has been lifting for many
years. If you look at other people in his weightclass, many can lift much
much more and have had less than half his injuries on their way.
So please people, if you want a good squat tutorial, look up guys like alan
thrall, max aita, chris duffin, johnny candito, etc. just do not listen to
this guy. While a lot of his cues are right, his execution of the movement
is just plain wrong. He’s basically explaining a squat and then
    demonstrating a good morning.

Holding your breath for the entire concentric and eccentric motion will
    cause hernias and glaucoma.

You should be slowly exhaling on the way up.

Lol. Lot of biomechanics retards in here. I guess it’s trendy to call any
squat that doesn’t look like Lü Xiaojun’s a good morning now. God, the
pendulum always swings so hard in lifting on social media, and retards go
    along for the ride.

Pause it at 17:50. This guy DOES NOT have long femurs in ratio to his
torso. He’s just a tall squatter with a long torso. He doesn’t have an
    excuse for high bar.
