Wheres the Oly vids Omar? Im curious to see how you jerk it
Omar you should have asked the coach more questions. We didn’t need a summary for the 2 points he discussed.
Anyway I always appreciate videos with Jeremy Hamilton, he’s my favorite lifter.
First of all I’m hoping that you haven’t just spent all your time making videos and have finally started seriously training your calves. Secondly and most importantly, I’d like to see you do a video with Couch comparing high bar squats to low bar squats, especially from a power lifters point of view.
I’d say there is one down side to starting to light, if its a big step away from the goal in mind, you may limit your chances of getting to that weight? say opening with 150 and you’re after 200 (kg) there is a big space to work with for the second
+OmarIsuf this is such a great informative video and I’m going to change how i train now thanks and also share the vid with my friends and weight lifting buds.
Don’t know if this has been covered but I’m curious about how enhanced and natty lifters should differ in their programming approaches (volume, intensity, frequency)
Hey Omar I was diagnosed with a low grade spondylosis in my lumbar spine. I am in a brace until it heals, but my doctor said I should never heavy lift again. I would like your opinion if you think this guy is just trying to save his career. I am 17 and not lifting heavy again is a hard to imagine.
Can you guys make a video about powerlifting prep. about 2nd topic you were comenting, for instance if your squat year before was 600 pounds and this year 2 months before the meet your squat shoots to 650, should you grind and try to increase it to place better at the meet or hold back and try to maintain current strenght for the meet??
+OmarIsuf I want to see the “Couch” train during his offseason. Does he have a program; is he strengthening his weak points; or is he simply doing full body hypertrophy training to gain as muscle as he can before meet season again?
Any advise about sweating with long hair? I have to fight the urge to shave it all off because it’s such a pain in the ass to wash when it gets sweaty, but I refuse to have a smelly head. Mine is long enough right now that I’ve been tying it in a knot.. basically wearing it ‘up’ like a samurai.. or a woman with a mustache. Yeah I’m skinny.

I’d love to see a video on how to identify weakpoints.
There’s lots of discussion on how to fix weakpoints once they’re recognized but for many…. just identifying what isn’t working is a difficult task
