Who doesn’t want a bigger bench press? To add more pounds, you obviously need to get stronger. But at the same time, using the right technique can go a long, long way. The right technique starts with the right “setup.” In this instructional video, World Record holding powerlifter Dan “BOSS” Green will show you how to setup the bench properly for achieving a bigger bench. He’ll focus on the four steps that really matter including getting the right grip, involving your shoulder blades properly, focusing on elbow positioning during the lift, and achieving the right leg drive. As bonus content, BOSS will also show you a few accessory exercises you can incorporate to increase your strength as well as add even more weight to your bench press.
Dan “BOSS” Green is a multiple World Record holding raw powerlifter in both the 220 and 242 weight classes.

Nice video so usefull ! When somebody comes in a gym he just thinks “Oh
that’s the bench press. I put the weight down then up” and he doesn’t
understand that this exercice is more than that. It’s a long learning
journey.
